Welcome back to the Tuesday Turn About Link Party and hello August! Once again I’m so excited to share my picks this week. We have a funny patio fountain story, a yummy strawberry recipe and some Christmas inspiration. I didn’t post anything for Christmas in July, but I sure enjoyed gathering lots of ideas on crafts that I can start right now.
Weekly Blogging Tip
The Yoast SEO plug-in can sometimes be a bit intimidating. Do you know what I mean? Trying to get those two little lights to turn green can be a challenge, at best.
I’m here to say, “Don’t sweat it!” I’ve heard from several SEO gurus to ‘write like you talk’. Of course, you want to make sure your spelling and grammar are correct. However, don’t worry about using words or tenses that meet the Yoast criteria. Google is more concerned with content and user-friendliness than whether or not you’ve used enough transition words! 😉
Be sure to visit My Wee Abode and Bluesky At Home for their weekly tips. Every week Julie, Carol and I will each pick three posts to share for a total of nine features.

Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t copy your image, we can’t feature you.
I can’t wait to see what you share with us this week and look forward to reading your posts!
Cheers!
Thanks for the feature, Michelle!
My pleasure Janet!
Hi Michelle, that strawberry tart looks so fabulous! thanks so much for hosting each week. Hope you’re having a great one!!
I know, I just want to dive into that tart! Thanks for coming to the party Debra!
Thanks for hosting this link up party so faithfully Michelle! I really appreciate it!
Happy to be here and happy to see you’re back too!
I totally agree about getting those green lights to light up when writing a post. I’m going to take your advice and write more like I talk 👍🏻
Great party has usual! 😊👍🏻👍🏻
I usually write my whole post then go back and tweak it as needed. It really is so much easier and sounds more like me too LOL!
Thanks so much for hosting this charming party each and every week!! I so appreciate all the time and effort that does into it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
Thank you for stopping by the party Deb! Have a good week!
Thanks for hosting! Have a blessed week!
Thanks for stopping by the party! We are glad you’re here!
Paula’s dessert looks so delicious. I can’t wait to try it!!
Me too! Thanks for linking up this week!
Thank you so much for the feature this week!
My pleasure Paula! Thanks for sharing at our link party sweet friend!
Couple things – First, thank you so much for the feature! I really appreciate it even though I am so not even close to Christmas mode yet.
Second, I love the tip about the SEO! It gets frustrating at times trying to keep up with those transition words so I’m taking your advice. And I’m glad you said to write like you talk. That’s great news although sometimes I’m not sure google would appreciate my 5 grade humor. LOL.
Third, I can hardly wait to try those brownies but when I clicked on the link under the photo to pin it, it says there’s an error.
Thanks for hosting such a great party! I find a lot of inspo here! 🙂
Thank you Cindy for letting me know about the link and it is now working. I’m no where close to being in Christmas mode either, but I’m starting to look back at all those great ideas I pinned last year. Seeing your post made me think of starting craft projects now. 😊
I was planning to do the same this week for fall stuff. I need something fabulous over one of the mantels. The others will keep their focal points. Might not find anything or maybe I will but I’m too lazy to make it. I really don’t like crafting. I’m a little weird.
So many fun links to dive into this week, Michelle! I love all the features you chose. They’re some of the sweetest ladies I know. Thanks so much for hosting. I hope your week is a special one, CoCo
Thank you CoCo for linking up this week. Can’t wait to see what you are sharing!
