Warm And Cozy Fall Entryway. We are settling into seasonal changes by bringing in warm and cozy neutrals into the entryway. These organic colors of brown, yellow, copper and terracotta have all the fall feels that say welcome to our home.
Warm And Cozy Fall Entry Table
Are you ready to decorate for fall or have you already jumped in feet first? I’m more than ready! We have enjoyed a little dip in temperatures, but at this time of year it is only a tease. Still, it’s putting me in the mood to decorate with subtle changes around the house.
The entryway is where I usually start, and this year I’m loving neutral colors that easily blend together. Here’s what I’m rounding up for the entryway.
- fall leaves
- textured accents
- dried florals
- copper
- dried gourds
Fall Leaves, Textured Accents And Dried Florals
Since our trees will not start changing until late October, I’m using faux fall stems. I would absolutely love to forage for branches with leaves in beautiful fall colors, but that’s just not going to happen as far south as we live. Luckily the faux stems look very realistic, and on the upside they are dust and bug free. 😉
I’m still getting lots of use out of this little wicker vase. Last year it was on the mantel in the family room which you can see here in our fall tour. It adds an element of texture that fits right in with my rustic fall decor.
Other textural accents include the terracotta lamp, clay garland, and a grapevine twig pumpkin. I’m repeating those apricot or terracotta clay colors in the dried floral arrangement. For a closer look on how to make the dried floral arrangement you can click on my post here. To see how to make the air dry terracotta clay garland click here for the tutorial.
Copper And Dried Gourds
An iron antique French scale with copper plates adds a bit of character, and looks pretty with the dark wood tones of the table. Copper also blends well with the soft apricot color of the dried florals.
More of those muted colors are repeated in the basket of gourds. Are you a gourd lover too? I just can’t get enough, and decided to display a mass of them in a wire basket. It must be their unique shapes and muddled colors that makes them so charming and appealing.
You’ll find one of my favorite displays in this post, Simple Fall Mantel With Gourds And Greenery. The mini spinner and bottle shaped gourds are so hard to resist. You will be completely smitten!

I hope you’ll have fun with your fall decorating, and be sure to check back next week for our fall home tour. I’ll be sharing lots of photos of the family room and kitchen.
Cheers!
