Ways To Use Granola
I’m on a bit of yogurt berry granola kick right now, and have a bowl every morning. With the addition of honey nut granola I have a very satisfying breakfast or snack later in the day, to keep my tummy from growling. Here are a few of my favorite ways to enjoy homemade granola.
- make a healthy granola trail mix by adding more nuts, seeds and chocolate chips
- top any fruit compotes with granola for a delicious dessert
- use homemade granola to make your own parfaits
- enjoy it as cereal with milk
- granola also makes an excellent topping when baking muffins instead of a crumble topping
Do I have your attention now? Fresh granola is so delicious, and not very expensive to make for yourself at home. Just be sure to store it in an air tight container to keep it fresh. I like to keep mine in jars with a little scoop, so it is easy to serve.
