Neutral And Gold Christmas Entryway
My Christmas decorating kicked off really early this year, because we are getting a new puppy. It’s been over two years since we said goodbye to our Sandy girl, so getting a new dog is a big deal for us. I can’t wait to share photos with you.
I have to say getting the bulk of the holiday decorations up feels soooo good. In just a few days I’ll be spending lots of time with our new pup without feeling stressed out about decorating.
Christmas Entry Table
One of my favorite ways to decorate for Christmas is with greenery. So this year the main focus on the entry table is a large evergreen arrangement. It’s hard to believe these are faux stems, because they look impressively realistic. I also love the brown magnolia leaves and berries for texture and color. The only thing missing is the fresh scent of cedar and pine.
When we get a little closer to Christmas I can switch out the faux stem for fresh greenery. I gotta say is there anything better than bringing the outdoors in during the holidays? Until then, scented candles will have to do the trick. 😉
For a new change above the table, I have simple artwork in a gold frame. These neutral tones fit right in with the the vintage scales, pine cones, books, deer shed and candle. I’m starting to feel warm and cozy vibes. How about you?
New Tradition
This year we’re starting a new tradition with a Christmas tree in the entryway. I can’t think of a better way to say welcome to family and friends than a beautiful artificial, yet very realistic king noble fir tree. I’m very excited to be partnering with King of Christmas this year, and we are enjoying our new tree so much.
I just got through adding natural wood bead garlands around the tree to go with the dried orange slices and gold ribbons. Clip on flameless candles are a fun addition too, and I’m loving the old world elegance they give the tree. You will find the flameless clip on candles here, and the wood bead garlands here.
For a bit of whimsy I’m displaying my woodland felt animal ornaments. You can read all about how to make them in my post here, which also includes patterns. Time permitting I hope to make a few more, maybe a moose, a squirrel and a rabbit. Of course, who knows with a new puppy running around haha!
You can check out my King of Christmas tree post here with a list of features that I’m highlighting. This is the perfect time to go ahead and order a tree if you’re thinking about. For your convenience I’m sharing these shopping links again.
