If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I dabble in watercolors, and from time to time enjoy sharing my artwork. I love angels and started painting them again. This one is my favorite, with soft pastel colors, a Noël banner and a circle of evergreens.

So much of my artwork lately has a childlike quality to it. I think it’s due to all the children’s books that I’ve been reading with my grandson. Maybe someday I can illustrate a book. Wouldn’t that be fun!

I have two versions, one with Hope, Peace, Joy and Love to symbolize the four weeks of advent and one without. Please feel free to down load both if you like. (Please note the free printables are for your personal use only.)

As I was painting this little angel, I thought of those that bring so much joy and happiness into my life. It’s my wish that in turn she will bring you good cheer, or at least give you something to smile about.

The angel watercolor makes a bright addition to my little vignette of Dickens books, vintage silver pieces and trees on the entry table. I’m hoping you’ll find a place for it too or save it for next year.

As I’m writing this post I can’t seem to get the ABBA song, “I Have A Dream”, out of my head especially the lyrics “I believe in angels”. So I taking a just a moment to think about what brings me comfort. I can’t think of a better way to reflect on all the good in my life right now.

I believe in…

Our hop continues with Stacy Ling sharing her tips to make a beautiful advent wreath. I’m taking notes to create one like it next Christmas.
