Create A Last Minute Halloween Tiered Tray

It seems like Halloween is about to slip by me this year, so I decided to get busy and create a last minute Halloween tiered tray. I’ve been longing to decorate something festive, and I’ve almost run out of time. One thing I love about this small tiered tray, is that I can turn it into a quick centerpiece.

I don’t have much in the way of Halloween decor anymore, but do have a few candles and a candy dish or two. So I thought, I’ll just update my fall tiered tray with a some things I already have on hand.

Many of the same things from my fall tray are part of the Halloween centerpiece, such as my white creamer with dried yarrow and more…

On the top tier, additions include the Harry Potter glasses and book page ghosts peering out here and there. The book page ghost are getting a lot of attention this year. To see how they look hanging across a chalkboard see my post DIY Book Page Garland.

Topiaries are easy to make by placing pinecones in small vintage ironstone jars, while preserved leaves add color in the pewter mug.

White plates behind the grinning pumpkin candle look a little bit like a full moon. It’s not very spooky, but fun never the less.

The bottom tier has lots of colored pecans, pinecones, moss balls, and more book page ghosts.

The cute jack-o-lantern candy dish holds a twig pumpkin, while a black cat candle perches on top of a stack of dishes. It’s a quick throw together, but it’s sure to get a few smiles. Next year I’ll plan ahead and include candy corn or chocolate frogs.
