Guest Bathroom Mini Makeover

Fluffiest towels and soap for the guest bath.

The project board for the guest bathroom mini makeover is ready to share. I’m anxious to get started since the bathroom update has been a reoccurring item on my to-do list for over a year. The plan is to upgrade the hardware and freshen up the space with paint.

In addition to the paint and hardware updates. I will also add a few organic elements, window covering, bath rug and a slow close toilet seat. Very exciting!

The changes in the room are basically cosmetic. The counter, cabinets, floor tile and shower tile are staying since they are in good condition. There’s no need to look for areas to spend extra money when I can simply update what’s already here.

To enlarge the look of the space the walls will be painted the same color white as the shower tiles. Then to anchor the space, the white cabinets will be painted a charcoal gray to compliment the dark colors in the floor tiles. The cabinets will also feature new hardware in a high polished chrome finish.

My vision is to lighten the space at the same time add some drama by painting the cabinetry.

After a couple of weekends of painting I hope the bathroom will be ready to share. Any ideas on art work? Should I go with a splash of color or something in black and white? Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you!

Cheers!
