10 Ways To Welcome Overnight Guests

Flowers make a sweet surprise in the guest room.

We think mostly of having guests during the holidays, however these tips are good practice any time of the year. To help you prepare, here’s a checklist with 10 ways to welcome overnight guests that are simple and hassle free.

Check list:

Start with a clean room, fresh sheets and soft bedding to make your guests feel at home and comfortable.

Indulge you guests with fluffy towels and soap that will sooth and relax.

Keep extra pillows, quilts or blankets close at hand.

Stash essentials in the bathroom for your guests, such as cotton balls, q-tips, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and a hairdryer.

If space will allow, provide a place to sit down other than the bed, such as a chair or bench.

Provide extra hangers and closet space to hang clothes.

Don’t forget to clean and remove clutter from the room.

By removing clutter and limiting the amount of accessories, the room will seem more spacious and inviting. It also allows room for luggage and personal items.

Keep bottled water on hand in the guest room or bath to keep your guests hydrated.

For convenience, include a wifi password print.

See that wasn’t so hard, just remember to keep it simple. Now relax and enjoy your guests, you’ve got this.

Cheers!
