Presenting a sneak peek of my new craft area! I am so excited to share this with you. Sometimes, no matter how much we try to reuse or redesign what we have, it is better to start over and buy new. I purchased the desk, tower and filing cabinets from CB2. The desk and storage tower required assembling. However, I was able to put everything together rather quickly. The filing cabinets only required the installation of casters.
I plan on hanging the sign above in the craft area for inspiration. It was a fun project I made in an Annie Sloan workshop.
Setting up a new craft area
I decided to stake claim for my crafting space in the loft area. The challenge will be keeping the open area clean where my creativity will be unleashed.
Lots of drawers and storage
As far as organizing, most of the storage will be confined to bins. Keeping the bins on the tower will provide excellent visibility of the labels. I also like the convenience of having drawers to organize things so that they are within easy reach.
Great storage area on the tower
The best part of taking over the loft space is the natural light coming in from the three windows. The light should be perfect for painting or photography. All the space needs now is a little pizzazz. After I get that spark in the room really going, I will share more pictures.
