ROASTED ROSEMARY ALMONDS RECIPE

Roasted Rosemary Almonds Recipe, turns plain almonds into a fancy appetizer to serve at your next dinner party with cocktails or enjoy as a healthy snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
  • Combine olive oil,  rosemary, paprika, onion powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add almonds and toss with olive oil mixture until coated.
  • Evenly spread almonds on lined baking sheet and place on middle rack in oven.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Sprinkle with additional salt if desired.
  • Allow to cool and dry out a little for about 1 - 2 hours before storing in an air tight container.

Recipe Notes

For spicy almonds add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the olive oil mixture.
I'm a bit conservative with salt in this recipe, and that's why I suggest sprinkling additional salt after removing them from the oven.
Adapt this recipe for cashews, peanuts or your favorite mixed nuts combination.
