Organizing A Master Bathroom Linen Closet – I’m so happy to finally share a sneak peek of our master bathroom makeover. It has been two months since this project started, and I still have a few finishing touches to make. So while we are waiting for delivery on a couple of items, I thought I’ll just share one of my favorite new features with you.

The bathroom makeover is making me feel so spoiled, even more so with a new linen closet. We’ve only been talking about redoing the bathroom for the last eighteen years or so, and now we can fully enjoy it. The Mister got his rainfall shower head, and I got a linen closet. I think that sounds completely fair, don’t you?
Organizing A Master Bathroom Linen Closet
Our contractor came up with linen closet design of incorporating two large doors to conceal storage shelves, plus three wide drawers below. I had no idea I would love the drawers so much, but this design is so much more practical than having all shelves as I first imagined.
Storage Bins
When I say I’ve looked at hundreds of storage options, it’s really no exaggeration. I can’t even guess how many hours I’ve spent scrolling through Pinterest for ideas.
I made a list of what I wanted to store in containers on the shelves. Figuring out the exact size and type of bins that work best for what I have on hand made the hunt for storage solutions so much easier.
- extra towels
- sheets
- toilet tissue
- blankets
I can’t be trusted to fold towels and sheets perfectly, so that’s why I like the option of hiding them in bins.

There are several reasons why I love these bins. First of all they are light weight and easy to pull off the shelves. Second they have not just one but two slots for a label on the side and the front. Can you guess the third? You know me and stripes!
Storage In Drawers
Bulky items such as king quilts and comforters fit perfectly in the drawers. I still have room in the drawers for more items that I can add later as the need arises.
Storage Jars
Making a list of what to store in glass jars is also helpful in the decision process.
- soap bars
- Qtips
- cotton pads
- facial sponges
The large glass canister with soap and medium glass canister holding facial sponges were a small indulgence but look so pretty in our classic styled bathroom.
I’m still debating on leaving the storage jars in the linen closet or placing them on the counter. I’ll be asking for your opinion when I post the full bathroom reveal.
