Buying a new pendent for the breakfast area was so exciting. I would definitely compare the experience to buying a new pair of boots or strappy high-heeled sandals. The new bronze colored pendent over the table definitely compliments the eating area better than the old fixture. We updated the kitchen adjoining the breakfast area last year and I think it is all finally coming together.
We bought the table and chairs a few years ago when I gave my old set to my daughter. She rented a house her last two years in college and needed furniture. It was a great excuse to go shopping. We only had the table a few months when the top was damaged so I painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Versailles. Last November I painted it again with a mixture of Annie Sloan Graphite with a little Napoleonic Blue. Still loving it!
