Welcome back to the Tuesday Turn About Link Party. I so happy that we get to enjoy some fall like weather today. While I’m digging out my sweaters you can enjoy the fun fall features I picked this week including two DIY projects and a gorgeous china cupboard.
Weekly Blogging Tip
Today’s blogging tip is Pinterest related! Ah, Pinterest… are you friend or are you foe? Can y’all relate?! π
Are you using a tool to keep track of the Pins you’ve created for each post? You know, what Pins you’ve made and when you last posted them? If not, you may want to start using a database tool or even create your own spreadsheet!
If you are using a tracking tool for this, we’d love to hear what and how you are using your Pinterest database in the comments!
Michelle’s Household Tip
Several times a year, I make a sweep through the house and closets for items to donate. We have several local charities with thrift stores that will make door to door pick ups. This week, I’m filling a box with seasonal decorations in addition to clothes and household items that I’m no longer using but are in good condition. This is more of a reminder, that there are so many in need, so consider donating your unused items instead of throwing them away.
Be sure to visit My Wee Abode and Bluesky At Home for their weekly tips. Every week Julie, Carol and I will each pick three posts to share for a total of nine features. If you missed the party last week clickΒ on Tuesday Turn About Link Party. Β
Though not a requirement at all, we would love it if you would subscribe and/or follow your hostesses on one or more of our social medias:

Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well β comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
- Please make sure thatΒ your imagesΒ are in aΒ jpeg or png format. If we canβt copy your image, we canβt feature you.
I can’t wait to see what you share with us this week and look forward to reading your posts!
Cheers!
Love your features… and your household tip! Thanks for doing this gig with me!
Hey thanks Julie, I love being part of TTA with you!
Thank you so much for featuring my pierced wood candle holder this week!
I wish I knew of a pin tracking tool. Let me know if you discover one.
You are so welcome Paula (aka power tool queen)!
I have a feeling I’m in for a lot of beauty here! Happy week!
I’m loving this weeks features too!
Thanks for hosting! We’ve had a week of lovely fall weather — crossing my fingers it lasts!
We are expecting fall weather next week, so excited!
Another wonderful week of features and links, Michelle! Your little ghost garland is so darling – I love the eyes at different angles! And thanks for the reminder that people can use our extra household things. It’s always so nice to know someone else will appreciate them! Thanks as always for hosting, and Happy Tuesday!
Hi Barbara, so happy you are here with us this week!
Hi Michelle, thanks so much for sharing my woodsy China Cupboard, and for hosting a great party! I’m a sweater gal too, so glad it’s getting cooler!
My pleasure Debra, your china cupboard is a treat for the eyes!
That canning lid pumpkin is adorable. Thanks for hosting the party!
Yes it is! I love Rachelle’s spin on the project.
Thanks so much for hosting each week!! It is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
Thank you for coming to the party Deb! Have a great week!
It’s definitely time for me to use your household tip in our closets and seasonal decor bins. I hope you’ve been having a good week so far, Michelle!
Thank you Marie, I’m glad you like my tip! π
Michelle, thank you for the feature, plus the tip for tracking. I never thought about tracking my pins. Just kind of keep it in my head. You would think that tailwind would have something like that in their program.
Let’s hope someone will create an app for it…soon!
I love pinterest, as a craft blogger it’s like it was made especially for me! I tend to use it more as a user rather than as a targeted business tool but I do keep track of what I’ve pinned of my own where on a giant spreadsheet, which seems to work fine for now.
Julie you are so smart to keep a spreadsheet. Let’s hope an easier solution will be developed in the near future!
