Apple Crisp Recipe
Try a delicious apple crisp recipe with butter, sugar and cinnamon melting into apple slices making them juicy and tender with crispy sweet oats on top.

  • 6-8 apples depending on size
  • 1cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2cup butter softened
  • 1teaspoon ground cinnamonor pumpkin spice
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  1. Preheat oven to 375º F
  2. Grease skillet or baking dish set aside
  3. Combine oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in a bowl set aside.
  4. Peel and slice apples then arrange in skillet. Add water and lemon juice.
  5. Top with oatmeal mixture.
  6. Bake on center rack for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve warm.
Recipe Notes

Increase sugar depending on the variety of apples. Tart apples such as Granny Smiths may require a little more sugar.
