This year the fall focal point in the entryway is a perfect little line-up of white mums. The sprucing up of the entryway is just in time for a party, and I can’t think of anything that says welcome more than a pretty display of flowers.

Truth be told I’ve wanted to create a display with flowers, ever since I bought the baskets. Having a party was the ideal opportunity to finally fill them with flowers, and I’m so excited that they turned out as good as I had imagined.
Flowers
The white mums have brightened up the whole entryway, and they’re the first thing guests see when walking through the front door. I’m not sure any other color would work as well with the navy wall. Navy and white always work for me.
I’m predicting the mums will be making an annual fall appearance in the entryway.
Wall Decor
I’m really hook on big charts this year and love the eclectic look they add to the house. I swapped the bird chart for a vintage map of Europe so now I can brush up on my geography.
Since there’s enough going on with the map and flowers, I decided to keep everything else very simple. A few books, a green bottle and a tray decorate the entry table.
Fall Accents
To give the entryway a definite fall vibe I add a couple of pumpkins, a plaid throw and my hello fall chalk art. For details visit the post on how to create art with stencils.
The entry is a flexible space that doesn’t demand a lot of attention. That’s probably why out of all the rooms in the house the entryway is becoming my favorite to decorate.
Storage
The entry table with the addition of baskets is used for storage and flexes with the seasons. Everything else used for decor is pulled from other rooms.
I hope to make time to take photos of the party set up to share in a post soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Cheers!

Such a pretty space. I really do love the addition of the white mums and I’ve loved white mums in decor this Fall more than I have ever before! That memory maker sign looks perfect here and I always love when I see maps in decor (which I haven’t tried yet!). That green heirloom pumpkin is adorable on the chair! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
