Thinking about fall, cooler weather, and that wonderful feeling of knowing a change is floating on the air, inspired me start a fall bucket list.
The first thing on my bucket list – update the chalkboard. Turning my attention to my neglected chalkboard, I decided to write the first things to pop into my head.
I started with pumpkins, acorns, squirrels, frost, leaves and I kept going, squeezing in more and more.
I should have made the first item on the list, a new chalk marker. When I started writing, the marker started dripping blobs and my letters looked awful. What to do? Start over, or try to fix it when I’m finished? Nope, I worked on the letters some more, then added more blobs and splatter by shaking the last of the liquid chalk from the marker. The writing looks rather random and graphic. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it! A true one of a kind.
Have fun with your own chalkboard and think about your favorite fall memories for inspiration!
Cheers!
